چکیده
The use of Direct Current (DC) transmission links in power systems is increasing continuously. Thus, it important to develop new techniques model the inclusion these devices network analysis, order allow studies operation and expansion planning large-scale electric systems. In this context, main objective paper present a methodology for simultaneous AC-DC flow multi-terminal High Voltage (HVDC) system with generic representation DC network. proposed based on full Newton formulation solving problem. Equations representing converters steady-state control strategies are included problem formulation, resulting an expanded Jacobian matrix method. Some results presented HVDC test confirm effectiveness approach.

DC Voltage Control and Power-Sharing of Multi-Terminal DC Grids Based on Optimal DC Power Flow and Flexible Voltage Droop Strategy
This paper develops an effective control framework for DC voltage control and power-sharing of multi-terminal DC (MTDC) grids based on an optimal power flow (OPF) procedure and the voltage-droop control. In the proposed approach, an OPF algorithm is executed at the secondary level to find optimal reference of DC voltages and active powers of all voltage-regulating converters. Then, the voltage ...

The significant increase in planned offshore wind parks and the tendency towards large parks in considerable distances offshore, make the well established HVDC technology a favorable solution for the connection of these large & distant offshore wind parks to the main power grid onshore. It is therefore necessary to adequately model the HVDC transmission links and integrate them in the load flow...
متن کاملIET Renewable Power Generation Special Issue: DC and HVDC System Technologies Coordination of DC power flow controllers and AC/DC converters on optimising the delivery of wind power
The generation of offshore wind power is less predictable. This can cause the overload of offshore DC transmission system and thus requires the curtailment of wind power. To reduce the amount of wind power curtailment, a method of optimising DC power flow using DC power flow controller (DC-PFC) is proposed. The analytical expression of coordinating DC-PFCs and converters in controlling the powe...
